Sometimes it can be a real struggle to see past our earthly troubles and fix our eyes on the eternal. We age, we face hardships, and we fall prey to things that bring us worry.
But knowing that there is a Kingdom of God and His righteousness that we can seek after (Matthew 6:33) helps put things in perspective—this life on earth along with its hardships are but momentary. What awaits us is beyond our imagination.
Today, when you look in the mirror, remind yourself: What I see is temporary, one day I will be transformed into His glorious image.
