Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1: When Retaliating Seems Like the Only Way
This was the memory that came to mind while I was watching Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1—I was bullied for the first time in my first year of high school.
Jacq has coffee and ink in her veins, and is a journalist by trade. A professional geek who loves magic, pro wrestling, and rock music, she writes a lot of fanfiction and analyses media like it's Shakespeare. When I first became a Christian, I didn’t like my home church very much. Even though it was a doctrinally correct church and I essentially grew up in it, I felt like I didn’t really fit in.
We may have been driven to isolation by the pandemic, but many of us are already schooled in its ways. And as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness shows, it is a dangerous way to live.
In this modern day and age of mixed signals between members of the opposite sex, how can we cultivate healthy intergender friendship?
Earlier this month, HBO Max released a reunion special to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter films. The event was highly anticipated, with trailers out months ahead of the stream on New Year’s Day.

It took a long time before I recognised my addiction for what it was, and even longer before I could consider myself an addict.

We are called to stand up for Jesus’s name, and we most certainly should. But if we choose to do so without knowing who or what we’re challenging, we’ve lost the battle before it even begins.
