Nobody likes to be told what to do—except when we’re clueless. And sometimes we don’t realise that until we fall flat on our faces.

Those who have seen more of life understand how precious wise counsel is. Just as this psalmist shows us, he can walk about in freedom and with confidence, because he knows he is on the right path—the one that God sets before him.

He understand how profoundly good it is to be on God’s side, knowing that it is the surest way to be truly blessed.
