Typography: Colossians 1:16

Have you ever played those virtual games where you got to create your own city, build homes and towns, and even design the characters living in each home? What a buzz it gave you to see each piece come into place!

Now imagine the pleasure God felt as He created every part of our universe, whether in heaven or on earth, visible and invisible (Colossians 1:15-17). Read through this verse again, inhaling the awe-inspring and breathtaking magnitude of His creation. And remember this: While we easily tire and get bored of our virtual universe, letting it go into disarray, our Faithful God who created all things continues to hold all things together (v. 17), just as He has done since the beginning of time.

REFLECT:

Pick up your Bible and turn to Colossians 1:15-17. Slowly read through the verses again and highlight the words that stand out to you as you picture God the Creator at work. Next, take stock of the different living creatures–see if you can fill a notebook full of the wonders of God’s creation!
