Unlike 2000’s original X-Men, rated PG-13 in the US, where the blood-letting was kept to a minimum, this final R-16 instalment is a far darker and more brutal film, gut-wrenching in its visceral violence and profanity.

We’ve not forgotten the endearing regal blue tang, Dory, it seems. Though 13 years have passed since the tad-forgetful and oft-apologetic blue fish first made a splash in Pixar’s animated sea, many still flocked to the theaters for Finding Dory—the sequel to the 2003 Academy Award-winning Disney-Pixar movie Finding Nemo.

A typical question I get asked as a psychology major is: “Can you read my mind?” (No prizes for guessing my answer.) Perhaps that is why I have thought about how wonderful it would be if I could actually read another person’s mind. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person to think that way, which is why I think Disney’s latest Pixar offering, Inside Out, appeals to so many of us.
