Have you ever forgiven someone who isn’t sorry for the way they hurt you?  After my 13th birthday, one of my parents started struggling with alcoholism. It was a scary and destabilising period. By the time I was 15, I discovered I held a lot of hate in my heart for this parent, and had traded my hope for healing with revenge.
